How do you define freedom?
For me, today, freedom is being able to foresee the day when I am able to let go of some of my maternal duties. Freedom is seeing an empty nest only days away.
Twenty five years ago, our daughter was born with multiple disabilities. Since then, I have dedicated my life to ensuring both she and her brother had the best possible start in life.
Two years ago, our now 21-year-old son left the nest. In six weeks time, our daughter will follow.
Today, I was informed that an apartment has come available and it has our daughter's name on it! On Canada Day, she will get the keys to her new place.
Five years ago, our daughter began to prepare for this day by moving into a brand new "granny suite" within our home - a beautiful 400 square foot apartment with all amenities over our garage. Then, I began praying to God ... Please make it possible for our daughter to move out of this apartment in five years.
We set a date - July 14, 2009 ... our daughter's 25th birthday. We had no idea how it could possibly happen, but I asked for what I wanted, and set my belief.
Today, the answer came, and in six weeks time God will have made the impossible possible ... with 13 days to spare.
I am so grateful to my amazing company, Isagenix, for making it possible for me to work from home, to have flexible working hours so I could attend to our daughter's support needs, and to build an income that will comfortably take care of the costs of her moving outside our home.

I am over the moon, and a little anxious, as I await the day of impending freedom.
